I've produced and directed everything from stadium concert multi camera shoots on jumbo screens to tightly scripted corporate communication pieces. I've filmed wannabe James Bond action shots of talent jumping out of helicopters onto a roof and abseiling down several stories and, less glamorously, training videos for milk tanker drivers.

But you don't want to see that stuff because, frankly, you've seen it all before.

This short video was filmed in Sikkim, India in 2006 in the good old days of DV tape in standard definition. You learn after a while that although technical standards are always improving,  what matters, in the end, is where you point the lens and what you show your audience. You have to let them enter another world and tell them a story, preferably without words.
